I have standard pegs and when i get leg weary i rest my heels on the pegs and stretch my legs out. This lets a breeze up the jean legs too.
When my rump gets numb and hot i can stand on the pegs and air out. Also good when going over speed humps etc to take the impact off you tailbone.
