Cycle World's March '10 rag had a blurb on Kendon lifts. And yes, Kendon offerings are sweet.

Not an issue to me... that's why they make roll carts. And at my present income from my life/soul sucking job.. theres not much danger of me being able to afford one anyway.

I've had the Kendon lift now for about 4 years. Excellent lift. I have the jack for it as well. I HIGHLY recommend this unit. Steady as a rock with the bike in the highest setting. Mine uses a manual hydraulic ram, not air.
I ended up getting it as my back was just killing me while working on the bike.
EDIT: I should add that it can be challenging to get the bike on/off the lift. My wife gives me a hand to load and unload. To unload you have to use the rebound on the forks to spring out of the front wheel chuck.

Anyone got an opinion on the EazyRizer?
They look more suitable to me cos you can clean and oil the chain without buying the extra jack

Does it fold up like the others? It's work an extra couple hundred to me just for that feature.

It doesn't fold, I store it on its side. Uncle Charlie

I might see if I can get one of the lifts, $279 is a really good price for that. It doesn't need to fold I'll just park my bike on it all the time.

Excellent price but someone on here ( apologies I can't remember who ) posted a thread about the big blue and whilst the price is outrageous, I'm thinking just how much I'd love one of those. Currently my basic seers type arrangement does the job but after a few hours my back starts telling me I need something higher. I really like the simplicity of this one. http://www.oneup.com.au/bigblue.phpTime to buy another lottery ticket i think. Is there anyone who can tell me about any negatives issues of the big blue besides the extra big hole in my wallet?

I like that one too but I can't afford more than 3 times the cost.

I suspect that $1090 price is in AUS$ and not US$. It's still pretty pricy, coming out at around US$950.
My Harbour Freight cheapo lift is ok, although I discovered it was a PITB when changing the oil. Getting the oil pan under the bike was not possible and seemed more oil dripped on the floor than into the pan.

Yes Steve that Cost is in Aud. Personally I try to steer away fm Aus distibutors cos most times they try and rip us blind. In this instance given the weight I'd have no choice though.
I'm also the same as you re changing the oil etc, But I do manage. Having more room to work under my bike and the height advantage are the best selling points for me. Will I be getting one soon? Probably not cos I'd rather put the money into other projects. We'll see but I suspect I'm like many others where it's just that little too much at the moment. Wouldn't it be a great lift to have though. Of course I could buy the red one but it's not as heavy duty etc.

I have the $60 Harbor Freight lift and love it, v. stable, locks in 3 positions, can spin and move in any direction - especially handy when packing in tight for the winter! I also use it to lift my riding mower and clean it.

Gotta be. One of those table lifts is a brick when it's in use.
