John.....I've debaffled 2 sets of stock slash cut pipes now. After using a hole saw on the first baffle plate, the one at the end of the exhaust, I used a heavy duty 14" screw driver on the second baffle going in. Just went around the outside of the baffle plate and broke the spot wells...no problem here. Then bought a 3 foot piece of 1/2" round steel bar at Home Depot and sharpened one end into what looks like a flat blade screw driver. Did the same thing, just broke the spot welds free on the 3rd baffle in. The problem here were the 2 large nuts on the inside for the hanger bolts. Hard to get behind the one side as the nut hides the weld. Also, had to crumple up the loosened plate as it would't come out past the nut way down there. Made a long coat hanger hook and fished it out. I stopped at 3 baffles out each side this time around as my first effort at all baffles out was too loud for my highway riding. The remaining metal from the first saw cut, was very ragged and uneven, so bought one of those small pinkish grinding stones from Home Depot and removed the remaining metal. Used it in an air drill....quick and easy
