Well, the reason for not taking the Speedy comes down to pure, ergonomics and Fuel. ( well besides that when it comes to running roads like the Dragon, I enjoy the ****** out of the bird more than the Speedy!!! ) I hit reserve on the Speedy at about 132 miles, I can roll about 190-200 on the bird before every worrying about fuel, and long distance, contrary to a lot of people, for me, the bird is just more ****** comfortable. ( I ran in the local Iron Butt last Oct, 1036 miles in 24 hours with several bonus stops. I knew I had ridden, but wasnt saddle sore.
