This BBC report then goes on to say the Bristol University poll also found:

People who own a ferret were more likely to make a living by selling their blood to the Red Cross, college degree or not.

People who own a bird were further broken down into sub-demographics:

People who own a parrot were more likely to have a college degree, but it's a degree in Political Science, and thus are less likely to actually make a lively using that degree and thus are most likely working at their local Supermarket stocking groceries.

People who own a Mynah bird were more likely to be extremely hairy individuals(yes, both men AND women..YEECH!!!), and were most likely to hold a post-graduate degree in the fine art of lawn bowling.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
