So, I'm curious if anyone has done a mix-n-match kind of cam swap. Like take the intake 865 cam and the exhaust 790 cam in one motor, would there be any difference? From what I gather, the Speedy with 865 boasts 61bhp and 55ftlbtq factory, and the America with 790 has 54bhp with 51ftlbtq. I know obviously some of the difference is from bore size, but is the intake cam on the 865 slightly better? I have heard many times the exhaust cam is not as open as the 790 exhaust.... I guess the question would be, would it be worth it to put an 865 intake cam in my 904 with the 790 exhaust cam? Would I see any difference at all? I guess it would be easy enough to do. If it even picked up a small amount of torque or hp it may be worth it maybe. Anyway, it's all hypothetical, if I can get a hold of Fast Freddy, he still owes me a set of regrind cams...

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. Herm Albright (1876 - 1944)

813 cams is what your motor needs.

Again, Fred owes me a set, but since I can't get a hold of him... When's the last you heard from him?

Last time was about 6 months ago. Sadly he owes parts to a lot of people; including quite a few of my customers. He was sick, but... You can PM me if you like.
