Not exactly that, but I did once stop at a garage to top up the oil in my old kwaka softtail chop, drive off down the road, realise my right ankle was getting wet, looked down and saw the hole where the filler cap should be

Anyway after pulling over and walking up the road a bit in a vain search for the cap, gave up and decided to try and shove something in the hole, I found the cap still sitting on the crank case where I'd left it

The worst thing? I now had less oil than when I pulled into the garage
