I've just spent a couple of hours putting the thruxton needles, 145 mains and 45 pilots in because of my taking the staintune restrictors out. I then connected the fuel, turned the petcock on and went to start her and nothing. No start in her at all. Mmmm, maybe I need to go back to 42 pilots????
So I put them back in before I realised the petcock should have been on reserve. Grrrr. Lol
Started fine but now have got a seriously undercharged battery. Yes even staffo has got his deficiencies and that's with a capital D.
Go on, I know you want to agree. Nearly as bad as that time I went to try and kick a door down to access a house fire and all I did was push myself with breathing apparatus on backwards, tripping over a potplant and doing a somersault off the patio. Yep, I'm an idiot lol

I'd kinda like to see the video! But then you'd want to see the video of me changing the oil in my car, and adding the new oil without putting the plug back in. I'll bet most of us here have done that!

Excellent guys, and you didn't even make too many extra miles out of it at my expence, which was half expected (sort of)
Being able to laugh at my own stuff ups and not taking myself too seriously is something that's taken a while to do but it sure feels good that's for sure. Anyway, I knew I was in great company as usual which means taking the pi#s out of myself was fun. Cheers

hum. Ever forget to connect the fuel?   ahem okay then. now that the self deprecating humor is out of the way, how does she run? The petcock oversight might have been a blessing in that the 45s might have been to large given the thruxton jet needles radical taper. btw I was enjoying a certain Australian shiraz that originated about 20 miles or so from an ACT shirt I happened to be wearing.

Not exactly that, but I did once stop at a garage to top up the oil in my old kwaka softtail chop, drive off down the road, realise my right ankle was getting wet, looked down and saw the hole where the filler cap should be
Anyway after pulling over and walking up the road a bit in a vain search for the cap, gave up and decided to try and shove something in the hole, I found the cap still sitting on the crank case where I'd left it
The worst thing? I now had less oil than when I pulled into the garage 
Too old to die young, too ugly to leave a good looking corpse

Sorry Guy's....Don't really know what Y'all mean by doing something stupid..... everything I do is perfect  well except for the time I was checking an attic for a smoke source and ended up in the hallway floor.... and well then there was the time.......
