I wasn't about to read that entire thread again but If I remember correctly most who posted made comments in a way to say they wouldn't own a cruiser cause its not their style or cause of seating position. There were only a couple (if not one) that were adamant about "hating" the cruiser. The guy that started that thread started a few more like it....meaning button pushing and has since left the site never to be heard again. Don't judge that site on that thread....those guys are pretty good, raw, opinionated, egomaniacs but good.
To add to Keith's comments....one dynamic of human behavior (haha...sound like I know what Im talking about doesn't it!), amongst men especially, is the "mine is better than yours mentality". We all have it to a point and when amongst your peer group its easier to fluff your feathers against others.
Ya know Z, as much as I have always admired not only Keith's ability to use the language so well, and MOST especially his ability to seemingly always look on the bright side of things and to almost always give people the benefit of the doubt, as is once again evident in his response in this thread...however...well...I think I'll give MY "+1" to YOUR response here today, dude!
(and BTW folks...The idea that "Cruisers can't handle" was totally debunked in 2002 when a certain motorcycle company located in the English Midlands premiered a certain model of which I believe we all here hold some appreciation...and so, would SOMEBODY PLEASE inform that MORON at that other website of THIS FACT!!!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
