New to the forum but long time reader. I'm looking to get some air brushing done before the riding season begins. Any thoughts on who's reasonable price wise? Any help in the right direction would be great.

Hi Rob,

Welcome to the site. I don't know about where you live, but I would look for someone who's airbrush art you like.

I am looking to have some air brushing done as well. I have a friend, who is an artist, and will do the air brushing for me, but I am more concerned about what kind of finish to put over it so it doesn't get screwed up after it is done. Would clear bra or something to that affect be sufficient?

Thanks,

Brent

There's gotta be some kickarse airbrushing talent in "Chicagoland." Not sure how to find it though. I can ask my buddy from Dupont (he was involved with their Hot Hues line of custom paint) if he knows anybody out that way. He's a really good airbrush artist but doesn't do it much. I just hope I can get him to do my stuff this year.

EDIT

Here is some of his old work (nothing newer than 2002): http://www.fenskecustoms.com/

And of course he did my bike: http://www.friarsride.com/my-2002-tba/

Look up airguy or glazer. Both members here, are chicago boys and have pretty cool bikes with custom paint done.

Thanks to all who responded. I will do some more research around here and post it should I find someone who is good and inexpensive.

Go to the Motorcycle show and parts expo at McCormick place on feb. 6. I'm sure there will be tons of talent there with their work on display. Also if you put in a PM/email to Airguy he may be able to point you in the right direction. Also you can try http://www.chicagomotorcycleguide.com/REPAIRS.HTM

Good luck and post pics when you're done!
