It's actually pretty easy. Get the bike high up on a stand first, tie her down good.
- Pull the front wheel and fender.
- Loosen all triple tree fasteners
- Slide each fork out
- Remove the shroud.
You can pull it all as one unit, while I've done that (and the install) I don't recommend that without an extra pair of hands.
