I've got a 03 America. Have I got enouft output to use a eletric coat and heated grips along with all may lights and normal load? Want to try and go to Daytona this year with the Americ. Rudyr

Are you talking stock lights and stock number of lights? Have you added any lights like driving lights or anything? Any LED conversions?

No led lights but I do have 95 watt high beam H4 head light.Rudyr

You may want to do the upgraded regulator wire mod just to be sure. Running a heavier gauge wire from the regulator directly to the battery got me charging 14 volts all the time, which should be plenty to run grips and a jacket. I have no problems with heated gloves and a lightbar.
Besides, if you're going to Florida, you won't need the heated stuff all the time!
