Broken could you post some more pics and a little description of how you did it for me please. I love the way it looks. Thanks.

I tried searching for the tutorial thread I made, but I couldnt find it. Maybe Friar could help with that somehow?

Anyhow, the headlight on mine was pushed out and forward with a different headlight mount. I believe the stock one can be modified, to provide the proper clearance the speedo needs, but I havent seen the stock mount in a long time. I think if you took the stock mount off the triple tree you could drill a hole in the center and mount it on the flat side sorta like mine is. The previous owner made mine, but newspeedmaster.com sells one too.

Then the speedo gets taken apart. Bracket removed, bent, cut, and drilled like this...

Then reassebled with the bracket facing backwards. Basically so the mounting tab comes straight out instead of kinking 90 deg. like the stock one.

Then you buy new longer machine screws the same size as stock only longer. Thread those through the drilled bracket, then through (2) 1" spacers, then into the triple tree like this.

Basically youre making the bracket mount to the triple tree a bit lower with the spacers so the speedo can align with the angle of the triples.

Its actually pretty easy I sorta started hacking it up while waiting for paint to dry on my battery bracket..haha The hard part is getting the speedo back together with the bracket backwards. Its a bit tight and needs some delicate forcing.
