Agreed.. you would be amazed at how much public information can be gathered about an individual with just a little effort.. Heck, most Universities up until a few years ago used SS #'s for student ID's and you could simply look up the persons name on the on-line directory to find it. You should always keep an eye out for id theft, but I wouldn't be too concerned about it.
