There seems to be alot of that going around with Triumph dealerships. Ed's Service in Hyde Park, NY has been around for a very long time but for the life of me, I can't understand why. Ed's such a crotchety old git, he doesn't give a rats butt whether he gets your business or not. I walked in there in '77 with a cashiers check in my hand to pick up a new Bonnie & he was so mean to me I came very close to tearing up that check in front of him & walking out the door. Only reason I didn't is cuz I wanted that bike SO ****** bad. Needless to say, that's the only bike I ever bought from him. The only thing I get there now is parts. He's mellowed some in the last 30+ years but he can still be a real prince & absolutely refuses to work on any bike that's not 100% stock.
