I havent mentioned our reliable 9000rpm ignition system either have I, you`d like one of them as well wouldn`t you? Once its ready and tested of course sir....

(Under investigation/development at the moment)

Uh...are you saying that you are developing an ignition that will relieve the 270 degree engine's fault of cutting out after a certain rpm AND will up the limiter?!!! If so, i believe i'm in if it's not rediculously expensive ! that would be awesome. Do you have a ballpark figure as to the price? Just an idea? $150? $300? $500?

Yes I am, we are still very early into this particular project but I believe more information will be available in the next few weeks with regard to performance and cost. If my initial findings follow through the ability to rev to mid nines, perhaps ten thousand rpm will be possible - reliably. It should be noted that a rpm limiter will definitely be incorporated and just because it allows lets say for the sake of argument 10,000rpm before it kicks in, it doesnt mean you have to rev your bike that high, it just allows you the freedom and flexibility beyond the Triumph Brick wall limiter we enjoy so much at present while still protecting your motor in the event of a missed gear or whatever, it will also incorporate a throttle position sensor.

Early days though - and dont forget you heard it here 1st!, and thanks for asking.

Cheers
