I need your assistance. I found a great deal on a set of JCW Shorty Turnouts and need to know the diameter of the header pipe.
I would go out to the garage and measure myself. Unfortunately my bike is barried in storage till spring.
Thanks for your help! Ceuls

Not 100% sure, but I think it's 1 3/4"..... would like to hear your opinion on the Bubs.....good and bad. Thanks.

Thx....my hunch was 1 3/4".
Are there any members here that have the JCW Shorty's? If so, what diameter?
Love the Bubs. Great performance and great sound. No complaints at all.
I just want to try a set of shortys with no baffles to see what they're like.
Cheers! Ceuls

Been working on my exhaust for the past couple months. The header pipe outlet is 1 3/4. I had an extension made at a muffler shop and bought a couple of those mini shorty mufflers from Dennis Kirk which are 12" long. It's a little loud right now, but may put a second small baffle into the pipe to quiet things down. Sorry no pics yet.
with one side set up to go over a 1 3/4" pipe and the other to go over 1 1/2", made and extension with the help of a

Yes, I have JCW mufflers. They are the slash cut megaphones though, and I have home made baffles. BUT, they have maintained a perfect appearance for over three years now, and I believe ALL JCW mufflers come with inserts to work with 1 1/2, 1 5/8, and 1 3/4" pipes. Mine was 1 3/4", so I didn't need the inserts.

On similar note, anyone know diameter of TBA Long TORs? I want to add insert baffles to make tolerable, not sure if 1 3/4" or 2". Just stick in a caliper good enough?
(How come Triumph sells all these products with NO information about specs to be found? Can't find anywhere.)

I might put in another small internal baffle to see if that quiets things down, otherwise I'll be out back.
