I'm preparing to install a Bonneville Performance oil cooler i got second-hand. There were no instructions with it. I'm wondering how to relocate the rear brake reservoir?

dave I believe on the later models..after the recall they stop using the bracket and just moved the brake reservoir bolt hole up on the frame "welded in a higher spot were the bracket would have put it any way"so no more bracket .. so what your talking about may not be their on his bike.. I be live they made the mod on 2007 and newer..

pic of were it used to be..

and were they weld it on the from now..

So it actually installed easily enough once i figured out the plumbing, but one of the hoses leaks badly at a crimp fitting. I wonder how common it is to have one of these things go out? I guess it's a manufacturing defect, but being secondhand i figure there's no warranty? What could i expect to pay to have one made?

My local auto parts store makes up hoses like that all the time for reasonable money, yours should too.

If not a truck place or a tractor place should. I go to a truck parts place to get mine done and it isn't very expensive. The hose is usually by the foot and they charge per fitting. I mean a big truck place , mine has a Diamond Rio sign out front.
