Okay, for all you folks over there on that li'l ol' island sittin' just off the coast of Europe

, here's the explanation to the comic John posted above.
In the early 1950s, the great american TV(that's the "telly" to you I suppose) comedy star by the name of Jackie Gleason had his own TV variety show, and one of the skits regularly played out on that show was called "The Honeymooners", which became such a popular part of Gleason's program that it was soon "spun off" and became a regularly broadcast program onto itself.
Gleason played the part of a blowhard NYC bus driver named Ralph Kramden. These sketches and the subsequent TV show customarily centered on Ralph's incessant get-rich-quick schemes, the tensions between his ambitiousness and his friend Norton's scatterbrained aid and comfort, and the inevitable clash when his sensible wife Alice tried pulling her husband's head back down from the clouds which would often lead to a verbal battle with her. One of his usual "threats" during these battles would be to make a fist at her and say,
"How would you like a trip to the moon, Alice?! BANG, ZOOM!!!"
