succinct: imho they blow. Not function wise, rather in comfort. cylindrical pegs hook up nice for boots. the switchblades elliptical profile kept my boots in a constant state of tigerwoodinfidelity as my boot would always be slipping off

Did i mention how heavy they are? Each one must weigh 9 lbs.

Rambling: This is not to say that the switch blades are phooey. Why? Well I'm not a running board, 2K a year rider. Long ago I learnt where and how and why to position my appendages for minimal discomfort. And don’t much believe in purty braided cables, iso grips, etc. what is is. Aftermarket for the sake of vanity is futile. Accessories will assimilate you. Save your money for the finer things in life: Tires, chain kits, valve shims, then more tires.
