It just dawned on me that the only thing with handlebars that I've operated in the last six weeks is a snowblower.
We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

I have 15 days lined up for the Sth Island (New Zealand) at the end of the month. There are 22 members from my club going down to the Annual TOMCC Rally. Thereafter were going to cruise almost all of the Sth Island.

My snowblower is on it's last legs. 15 New Hampshire winters has taken it's toll. I hope she lasts the winter.

As always, the same safety rules apply: - Don't overdrive your snowblower's headlights - SEE at all times - Brake gently and - Always wear your helmet!

We're having a heat wave. 44 degrees today. Would take the bike out if there wasn't still patches of snow and ice everywhere.

That is depressing, and mines got lots of parts off, battery out on battery tender, etc, etc... It will be warm again and the days are already getting longer!

Yeh, I get up in the morning every day and make the tough choice which one to ride to work; the speedmaster or the road king (of course the raingear goes on automatically).
ride when I can, work when I have to

I've had 9 days now... since the snow arrived. Won't ride in the snow. However I rode home from the cold - ok not as cold as some of you out there, but -6degC is still bloody cold. The joys of heated gloves...
And I'm getting withdrawal now... it's supposed to melt (the snow) over the next 24 hours and I can't wait!

I rode to work tonight,27* F and it's 10 degrees warmer than it has been. I didn't even have my electric gloves pluged in. If I had to complane it's about the salt. I've got to wipe the bike off everytime I get home.

Sun came out for a bit toady and was itching to get the bike out. Went for a ride around town, had lunch and by then the clouds had moved in.
But it felt so good to get out on the bike. I have all of 125 miles on it now...

Get that shoulder better is your first priority.
Then ride, weather permitting.

Bwahahahah... ...nice one!
Just wanted to say I got out on the bike last night FINALLY after about a month of waiting. It was in the mid to upper 30s F* and wasn't bad at all. Went with Roadworthy and our other buddy. That road grime was sli-pper-y stuff though

Do you think you could slap on some snowshoes and outrun them in that much snow? It'd be kinda fun to stick your tongue out and run by them.
