I drive a lot (50k/year) for work and have to park in some dubius places. I never leave my GPS in the car. I have been leaving my bracket though, which is probably asking for trouble.
I've been running an XM radio since '03 and they were kind of hot to steal in the beginning. I used to pull out my SkiFi2 unit, but stopped doing that in '05-'06. My wife got me a new XpressRCi for Christmas, so I've now been pulling that new model as well. I have gear stashed everywhere when checking into a hotel....
Oh yeah, the removable face-plate headunit also comes out. Here's what my cockpit looks like when I'm on the road.
