Hello!

Today I bobbed my rear fender but it looks bad in my opinion. There is to much space between the wheel and the fender. Now I want to buy a pair of Hagon shocks but I don´t know in which length. Has anybody a tip for me? Are 11,5" shocks low enough?

hi, I have fitted a pair of hagon shocks to my 05 america, I am sure they are 11.5 inches, bike sits lovely, no rubbing but I do not carry passengers. If you are able to go to hagons (as opposed to buying on line) the guys there will measure your tyre clearance and even take into account how much you weigh and then make your shocks up with the correct
stregnth of spring. improves the bike no end in my oppinion.

Ya'd think that thing would lift the rear tire right off the ground once ya hit 100 mph+
(I'd be scared to try it)

Mount it straight up, and ya probably couldn't hit 80!

Mike, those shots look like the reservoir by the Lars Anderson Museum. Maybe taken on the way to the Lars Anderson Classic?

I don't think I've posted my progress...I've even added driving lights since these. I'm gonna get the rest powdered this winter. A friend of mine started doing it and is really reasonable if anyone is interested:

I really like what you've done with the totally blacked out front end, and the 21" wheel and double rotors, Rob! VERY nice.

And now if you don't mind a suggestion here...How about also blacking out the chrome rear fender strut and the rear shock covers too? Just those.

I think doing that would really tie the look of your bike together, both front and rear, and would draw the eye more towards the engine/exhaust, and also toward that nicely cut down rear fender and old school Lucas taillight unit.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

New to the America/Speedmaster, is that factory gas tank? I thought Triumph tanks had the traditional knee indents.

The faster bikes had the knee indents... The newer models have fat tanks that don't cut through the wind as easily...

I do like the springer type front end... I'm looking at creating one that fits into the original yokes (trees)...

A nice pair of Speedys you have there. I really like the twirled handle bars on the left one and I reckon the sissy bar on the right one is awesome.
I hope you dont mind a suggestion but they would both look a heap better with tiny indicators. The blacked out look is okay on the left one but smaller is best.
