Well dang it!... on the bright side though, we've already had the monsoon, the rider down and now Steves bike won't run.. should be smooth sailing from here on since we got those out of the way. Come to Georgia and we'll get you running.. we have a team standing by and I have many spare parts. Top notch too!.. Pete and I reassembled a Bonnie America from the frame up in less than 3 hours today.

Thanks mike for showing up with the coils at Hunts lodge, Tellico plains, but as you have already told everyone they didn't work. After you left I drove to "Destination motorcycles" in Knoxville, they were waiting for me. they took the bike in to the shop, I told them what I already did in troubleshooting. Their mechanics went right for the pickup coil and It was fine, a little water soaked but still worked. they found an ignitor box from a warranty bike and put it in my bike and guess what? It fired right up. So between all the water and a 5 yr old bike the box decided to take a dump! Will be spending Weds with the grandkids and Daughters, hope to see everyone on Thursday. Bike still on the trailer. Steve

Chy I hope you have an Ignitor box because Knoxville, Asheville,NC, and Greensboro, NC all said that it would be Tuesday before they could get one in and it will cost $600!! A little out of my Vacation budget! Should be rolling in about dusk, and still pulling a trailer with a Triumph on it! How embarassing is that? Steve

We had a great ride today. Over 200 miles and lots of curves. We are meeting at the Mexican rest in town at 7:00pm if anyone reads this.

I miss you guys too and that goes for everyone I did talk to as well.

Thanks, Chy & Di, that was a great ride today: Maybe one year soon I'll actually be able to spend the night and observe the hooligans on foot.

Tomorrows meet will be at Chevron north 0900 hours. We'll leave from there to ride to Clarkesville for a run up 197 and back down 17 from Hiawassee. Approx 150 miles of hopefully avoiding the "chance" of thunder showers and twisty roads.

The ride today is around 150 miles, including a trip to Moto 400. After lunch 2ish or so we will start to gather here at the Pole Barn, usually Larry and Kathy bring the great rally feast in around 5 or 5:30. I would love for us to have some music played for us in between. Try to stay dry as mush as possible today everyone!

Hey Charlie, I got kicked too so don't be getting all over your bad-self. Anyhow, since I got kicked I m gonna head out a day early. Get home and save me a couple vacation days. I had a great, great time with some okay riding I guess. :-) Chy & Di are two of the greatest peeps a mman can know and I thank them very very very much. I will see ya'll next year at the cabin on Wolf Gang Puck road. Or something like that. Awesome seeing all ya'll and please be sure to keep the sticky side on the pavement brothers and sisters. Peace out all.
Ride On!

I guess your handle fits even more now eeh Charlie? Bad Charlie, Bad!
I must say, it seems like it would take quite a bit for Raj to call the locals on you guys, he has been pretty tolerant in the past. But then again....I know lots of youz guys.

I'm telling ya the guy over here at the Super 8 has been wanting a piece of the Ga Rally action for a few years, he would take us. You and Yota are welcome to use our floor. Do you want me to talk to the guy, Charlie and see if I can get you a room over here?

Hmmm, a couple years back they were really big on "Shusshing" us guys and gave us a real hard time, just chy of calling the police on us. To be fair, Matt and Mark were quite rowdy, as was the two skanks Yota was trying to get into.
(like the chy bit, ehh? I'm a funny guy, funny lookin)

I left Dahlonega about 2:00 a.m. Ga. time, apparently right before the Raj attack. He was out there talking to Keith and Charlie and all as I fired up and left. I pulled into Tuscaloosa about 5:30 looking for a room, but it must have been graduation weekend and there was no room at the inn - parking lot full, I never stopped the bike. Got my second wind, and never considered stopping again. I lost a good 45 minutes or more in Meridian, as rain was about to hit and I had to find a Walmart and get a dry-bag for my duffle. I killed another hour at the Missippi River crossing at Vicksburg. Beautiful day, and pictures were in order. I felt like spending more time touring the town and battlefield, but that will have to be another time... I hit Livingston, Tx at 5:30 Texas time, after 845 miles, nearly all of which were at better than 80 mph. Life in the Fast Lane again. I hate hearing about John, but I'm glad he is okay. Bikes can be replaced. I miss you all already. Had a great time, and can not wait to get back. It was great meeting Angus, Sandspur, Snows, and JakeShakes, Charlie, Old Roadie, and others for the first time. That's what it's all about! Thanks again to our hosts Chy and Di, and all who helped to put this on! Love ya'll. Keep the shiny side up!
