Happy New Year everyone!

I'll bet I go to more parties and nightclubs than most tonight as I am at work

So have a safe one and don't get too ratarsed!

Happy New Year Friends, one and all.........

I'll be ear tagging & tattooing a handful of market steers late afternoon, then stop by a local restaurant/bar with a rancher/logger friend of mine for a bite to eat. As he also volunteers on the ambulance crew, he can remind me how dangerous motorbikes can be

I'm ending this year with a bang, got 2 of my cars in the shop, one requires $1400 repair, the other is going to be ignored for the time being.... My bathtub was clogged so we decided to snake the drain, that didn't work so pull the pipe and try to catch water in a 5 gallon bucket over my head. To the hardware store for replacement parts in the cold while wet, fun! Now I'm waiting for my turn in the shower, the wife is in there now while I sit with spider webs in my hair from up in the floor joists...

BRING ON 2010!!!

Holy Crap, Dave. Which car needs the 1400 in repairs? And if both your cars need work then that means you have 3 cars 'in the shop' considering you have that other one hiding in another garage.
But seriously, if there's anything I can do to help wether it be from a lift somewhere to an extra hand or whatever, let me know.

Of course it's the VW that needs the repair, the PT Cruiser is fine, but there are some things that will need to be fixed down the road. We are selling that one anyway. I found another shop that will fix it for $850

Happy new year to all my friends OS and here in Aus.

It's 9.30am on new years day as I write this but many of you guys are counting down the hours now so please just be aware of the gluttonous drinking loonatics who will be around. Not wanting to be a stick in the mud and being bike riders I know you guys are more aware than most but I felt a reminder was in order just in case.

I've been on this forum now for over 3 years and I consider many here my friends who I talk to regularly. At a time of celebration I would just hate to hear of any physical harm come to any of your guys and girls.

My point is, if you do go out I hope all remain safe and happy as we begin what I'm wishing will be the next 10 years of riding and sharing on here.

To Dave Berni, sorry to hear your woes mate. Have a beer and it won't seem nearly as bad hey?

For me I had a few at home with my wife and was in bed before the clock struck however I love the mornings and I hate hangovers. In saying that, if I was OS, this is what I would love to be doing:

From Mountainman:

Quote:

Off to buddy's place where we have a fire down by the river. At midnight we fire off a BLAST from the ol' cannon and act amazed to amateur fireworks. A tradition!!

Otherwise, I can now also watch all the celebrations on TV, for instance Paris has just had their's and whilst I surf this place etc I'll enjoy your celebrations. At least watching them anyway.

All the best.

Happy New Year everyone! Even though most of us have never met in person, it still feels like we are next door neighbors. Time sure has slipped by fast. Seems like just yesterday the world was going to come to an end due to the Y2K bug, the internet was just a 'fad' that would eventually fade away, and 'earth shoes' were all the rage.

The reality is that while time flies, memories always remain. Here is hoping that the coming year will provide you with another batch of wonderful and joyous memories.

Cheers everyone!
Brad

Thanks friend. I'll be okay, today was just one pile of crap on top of another. As far as the beer, I think I will!

Ya know folks, I was just thinkin' here...Doesn't the line, "Should old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind", sound a little like a diagnosis of Alzheimers???

Well anyway...Happy New Year to all my friends here at HarleyTalk.com!!!

I've spent the last 30 hours curled up in bed, sick, so I'm skipping my friend's annual party. Pretty depressing - even though they ride an R/80 and a Valkyrie they're good guys.

Still, I think I have it better than Dave! Both cars are running and the tub drains just fine.

Have a fun and safe one everyone! Here's to many miles and hours of fun in the saddle in the coming year!

Well that does suck Mark... between you and Dave I'm not sure who wins whining rights (or is that rites). Maybe you should just split the prize.

My guess you are normally full of pi$$ and vinegar and in the mood for some good ol' howling at the moon on this particular night which would likely double your feeling bummed. On the bright side just tell yourself that this too shall pass and you'll be up and riding in no time.

Happy New Year to ya!!

Happy New Year to all. Wishing the best to you this upcoming year.

There is a lot going on in Timmins today. The Olympic Torch relay takes place this evening with Shania Twain helping in the honours. Temperature will be around -22 celcius... a bit nippy. Shania is a Timmins girl though and should handle things nicely.

Keith, if you were here, you could back her up with a song or two....
