It seems there is a plot against my year round riding. I work at night and I like to commute. I set a bottom temp at 22* and dry roads because I don't want to be in pain from the cold and I don't want to crash on black ice. All last week we had snow and now that's gone and the roads are dry, they are calling for rain at six oclock in the morning again. Only showers but twenty five miles home in the wet with a wet motorcycle is no fun when it's in the mid 30's. I guess I'll have to pray to the weather gods longer, and more frequently.
Sorry I just had to blow off some steem.
BTW riding, IS, the cure to winterizing your bike.

Yup...I never stop riding either. I guess my cut-off is about 30. I've ridden in colder but there's a point where it's just ridiculous. Our weather has not been very cooperative either lately. Hopefully, it'll change soon.

A couple of weeks ago it was 19* when I got of work, but when your there, there's only one way to get home. The forcast was 22* and I'm relitivly comfortable at that, with over paints and electric gloves and a good coat. It seems that every degree below that number is like ten degrees colder. It could be all in my head though. There's a thermometer about a half mile from where I work, so when I pass it I kind of get what the ride is going to be like.

Ahhh,... I remember when...I used to ride in that kind of weather when I was young. Then my kahunas froze, shriveled up and made me the wimp I am today.(But I do have a much prettier, albeight higher, singing voice now!)

Now, Chris, don't wear your self out with toooo much thinkin... just another advantage I have with my shrunken, pea sized danglies. I have more blood movin to my brain instead of wastin it on those things. Oh, and one more advantage. It makes anything in the area look BIGGER in comparison!

I can't believe you just said that in your outloud voice.
Kinda like how a volkswagon looks big next to a mini.
