Allergic reactions to bug bites can be pretty serious. I used to have a little terrier (Terrierist actually) who was in horrible shape when we lived on the North side of San Diego. The sand fleas were everywhere and nothing seemed to help. He pulled out much of his fur and was almost naked on much of his body. We moved back to Iowa in September and by Christmas he had a thick coat of warm fur just by being away from the d@mned fleas. From then on he could concentrate on ruling the house for the next ten years.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
