I don't know guys. Sure TV can be numbing... which has it's place after making it through yet another day in this world of swine flu, economic collapse, war on terrorism, climate change, cost of fuel cigs booze and food, health care worries, social reform, weather, 2012, corruption and taking out the garbage but then again TV just feeds all those worries and woes (well, except for taking out the garbage). Hmmmm...there may be other ways to fill the void... like learning guitar, riding (stating the obvious), working on the bike, hangin 'out on this here forum, or any number of other things that one might find interesting or stimulating.

Of course the option of hangin' out here and trying to keep up with all the intellectual prowess, whit, creativity and technical know how could possibly break a man (or woman)... some o' you might want to keep the TV.

Anyway, I pulled the plug on TV a few months ago. It was a bit like quitting smoking... there were withdrawals, just not extreme. I am a better man for it because I now have time to do things for myself which stimulate my intellect.

But if ya watch TV I ain't got no judgment 'bout that. Just stating what worked for me and my forefathers. It is not that TV rots yer brain, it's just that it pickles it. Hey, if ya like head cheese... carry on!!!!
