Just in case you were wondering... I've been on hols for a few weeks. Been to the sister's in Sydney for 3 weeks - give or take the travelling.... As I'm not going through everything on here what important things have I missed? And no, I don't want to hear all what Dwight's been on about! And yes, I had a great time and the first bike I saw on leaving the airport was a Speedie! Talk about being at home... Sis got married, I've got a tan, and have some great new friends over there. Mainly friends of sis, but they've got in touch since got back, where sis hasn't... And want a postie's bike, would leave it there but would be great for getting about over there!

All I can tell you is it hasn't been the same without you. Been wondering where you went there Gina. Glad you had a good time with sis and company and that you're back safe and sound.

OI! You didn't come up & see me! FYI, "postie bikes" are actually Honda CT110's. Did you know there's an annual "postie bike challenge" for charity where they do rides on postie bikes from Brisbane to various places like Darwin or Adelaide? (For those who don't know, that's several thousand km's through outback Australia, the Simpson Desert, the Nullabor Plains, sealed roads, dirt roads, no roads etc). Gives new meaning to the term "Iron Butt". Glad you had a good time.

The answer Matt is.... It's a BLOODY long way... And next time, it sounds like the visit might have to coincide with one of those events!

Don't be mad at your sis, she just got other things in her, errr mind. I too have been MIA from this site for quite a while... My situation is a bit different though. My wife of 13 years says she doesn't feel anything for me anymore and now we are divorcing. I've been in this painful rollercoaster for a year already and finally have made my peace with myself. Not being able to be with my kids every day will be the toughest thing but this experience can only make me stronger right? Anyways, it is nice to be back and see some familiar names again

GEEEZ! Would you PLEASE make up your friggin' mind here, lady!!!
You see, because, as it appears you fail to recognize, being the "serious soul" in constant search of ALL the MORE "important things" ever discussed at BA.com, I have as usual been doing nothing BUT touching upon those "most important" issues, controversies, and discussions which have transpired around here while YOU were blithely enjoying yourself Down Under with such leisurely activities as tanning that pale english body o' yours!!!
In OTHER words, one might say I've been..ahem..."Holding down the fort" here AND making sure that as many people as possible know "The Truth" about all those more "important things" in the world!!! Uh huh...YEP!!!
(okay...NOW that we've rectified this little misunderstand of yours , I think it's NOW most important to say that I'm glad to read you had a great time down there, and to ALSO say..WELCOME BACK!)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Been there mate, I know it seems grim at first but trust me it will pick up and its pointless staying with someone you dont get on with. Hope all works out well for you in the end. All the best Chris

Went through the same thing myself more than 20 years ago. Hurt a lot at first then I realised life has to go on. Always said "never again" but I did, and have been very happy for the last 17 years.
