Have the Triumph units and at first had to shim as they were off 90 degrees (have suggestion for that if required) and it felt as if my knees were hanging out in the breeze. Knowing this you could bend to 90 prior to installing if out of square. I said at first because after a lay down and the replacement of one side board they seem to be just fine, not a practicle modifications albeit it worked. I do like the boards vs. the foot forward pegs.
