Another "advantage?" to the Triumph boards is the mounting brackets are offset, so you can mount them backwards which extends them further forward. Helps if you got long legs.
The only problem with this is your pipes will scrape before the hero nubbins ever hit the pavement and the rubber pads will read "hpmuirT"....
