Sorry, it was meant as a joke, of course. That is the Taipei 101 building. It was for a short time the tallest structure on earth, which is no small feat in a land of typhoons (hurricanes) and earthquakes.
The idea to mount the backrest on an "elevator" so it could move up and down was very original!
