Me and my wife went to see a band called Eläkeläiset yesterday evening at the legendary club Tavastia in Helsinki. This club is 40 years old and I guess one of the most legendary rock'n roll clubs in Skandinavia.

Ok, nowadays playing some disco- and rap s.hit too, but it's the money calling the shots there...

P.S. I was drunk, she doesn't drink at all. Was she having a great time like I was?

Geez, nothing on my horizon currently. Daughter moved to New Orleans. I'm hoping to catch Halloween Widespread Panic show in the Big Easy.
Did catch Government Mule again in August, outdoor summer evening show, it was outstanding (tickets $16....).
Passed on expensive "The Wall" tickets, see related thread here.

The past 2 weekends have been music filled. Del McCoury, Emmitt/Nershi Band, Steve Martin w/ Steep Canyon Rangers, Darrell Scott, Kruger Brothers, & Jerry Douglas Band... amazing run of live music.

"Did catch Government Mule again in August." You should plan on coming to Asheville in December for Warren's XMAS JAM.

We are going to see the legendary Chuck Berry on Wednesday night. The original Johnny B. Goode. He lives here in St. Louis and does one show a month. It usually sells out in about an hour.

Looks like a nice festival Bucky. Have you ever seen Uncle Earl? They look better than they sound.

Next gig will be to see Hells Bells on the 9th of Oct' there playing at a local biker pub. There an ACDC tribute band, I saw them at the Bulldog in June, they put lots of effort into that show!
