This is not correct, Why, I know....My Dad , Uncle and multiple cousins and family members in general as well as close friends who are petroleum engineers all state unequivically, there is no "oil shortage" and we have huge supplies in this country (USA) the problem is, we wont produce it...I waited in those gas lines of the 70's...that was not due to an oil shortage but was political ...OPEC !
The same can be said for natural gas... an industry I have 1st hand experience with.... the only shortage we have is a shortage of people that understand plain economics and the need for energy.... wind & solar sound good but are not practical at this time..what are we left with..? Nuclear, coal, natural gas & petroleum all of which have the technology to be used in an environmental responsable way. The facts are the facts unless one relys on skewed science.
We are not running "short" on energy just "short" on common sense !
