On the EFI models you need to disable or remove the AI in order to eliminate the pops and bangs. When I installed my exhaust it was really popping a lot on decel especially when down shifting. I put a 16mm marble in each or the AI tubes and the popping stopped. Since then I have removed the AI entirely. It is a fairly easy mod and well worth doing.
