Hi all
I just de-baffled my stock pipe, and replaced the TORs, nice sound deep and punchy.
Q: the TORs used to pop and splatter, and that’s ok. But the de-baffled ones pop and bang .
Should i be worried?

I just re-read this opening post to this thread and wondered...

What is the difference between "pop and splatter" vs. "pop and bang?" What I know is the TOS on a carb model do not necessarily involve the use of bigger jets. In other words, the TOS are a rather mild version of the 'open pipe' concept, which equated to little to no concern over fuel mixture. Remapping for a (slightly) richer fuel/air mixture would I imagine be ultimate, but not necessarily necessary.
