Just got these boots. I like them. It may take a little bit to get them broke in though.

Here's the deal Soren... those are GREAT boots! Heck, even I (as in old fart) would wear them, a fact made especially true once I realized they had a zipper.
Yup... trying getting them puppies on without technological assistance could prove to be embarrassing.

That is an awesome price! Were they actually worn by Michael Jackson or were they just cleaned out of the back of his closet from the Bad video?

These are similar but a little more conservatively styled: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mens-Tall...SRCHQ3aUSQ3a101  I bought a similar pair two years ago, "Vampire" brand. They have a slightly lower heel (which I love) and have held up well. The velcro closures make them a snap to put on and snug up properly.

My favorite (and only) boots I have used are the ICON basic boots. They are basic. Lace up but waterproof. I don't think you can get them anymore but I got two pair for $40/pair so am happy as a clam. When they were out, I will see if Gene will give up his when he is done. Can you believe they are back on Tour.

Nice looking boots. Several months ago I got a pair of TCX Air Tech Touring Boots. A little more high tech type of boots, but they are great in all weather conditions. Tom
