Redhelmet... some words of caution.

nice sharp blade

windshield is plexiglass. Have a friend support it while you cut it. Plexi does have a tendency to break. Not meaning to scare you, but be cautious. Go steady and smooth.

use masking tape (painter's tape) on BOTH sides. This will prevent chipping. I peeled back the Clearview protective plastic just enough to apply the masking tape on the plexi surface. Get the 2" wide tape and make your mark on the tape using a nice fine point Sharpie.

use a medium to high speed for the blade. Use a blade that is for wood and plastics

cut a bit 'proud' of the line by a 1/6" or so. Sand down to nice bevel using oribital sander with 100 grit and go finer if you like

finish cut with MEK or paint thinner. DO NOT get on glass surface... just use a cloth on the cut edge ONLY.
