Clearview will make a custom height shield for $30 extra. That's really appealing as you get a factory edge, and a custom height. Failing that you can always cut down a shield. Currently, I'm undecided if I should go custom or get a 17" and cut it down. I have ordered all the hardware, and will make a cardboard shield to check the height. Clearview has instructions how to measure a shield on their website.
As much as I'd like to go with a custom setup, I'm not sure how accurate I can estimate the placement of my template to actually get the proper height. The cutout of the windshield sits about an inch above the headlight.
