Do I need to cut off the factory grips? Or just work the old ones off by prying them with a thin bladed screw driver?? V.

I just worked mine off, saved them, not sure why.
I used spray can hair spray to put on the new grips. Holds well enough, but you can get them off if you need. Of course, after installing mine the first time with glue, I put on a different set of bars, so I've been down that road.

I just did mine. I was able to peel them off inside out without cutting - just used a screwdriver to loosen them.

Be careful with the glue that comes with the grips. It's instant stick, so test apply and mark where you want the left side to end up. I purchased a slower drying glue that gave me time to position the grips where I wanted them.
