The point was:
If your gonna pratice slow speed maneuvers, DON'T THINK ITS NOT POSSIBLE TO DROP IT.
How many members have posted the damages to their bikes by just dropping them while standing still?
Broken turnsignals, clutch/brake levers, dented tanks, bent bars, scraped pipes, bent pipes, broken mirrors,cracked/scraped case covers, broken/sprained ankles, sprained wrists, etc, etc, etc.
YES, practice slow speed maneuvers, the benefits out weigh the disadvantages, but don't think its not possible to damage your bike, and the costs that go with it. How much is a tank?
Adding crash bars was their recommendation, believe it not not.
I encourage ANYONE to do as I did, and ask them yourselves. They won't lie to you.
Anyone here got a story to add?

Practicing high speed maneuvers can cause dropped bikes too. That's not what this thread "was" about. It was learning how to properly handle your bike.

No one here thinks a bike can't be damaged while riding it. Especially when learning new techniques.

However, you jumped in and made the point that it's possible to damage your bike by learning to ride properly while not going fast, or without even riding it.

Good job!
