I'm not a big whiskey drinker to be honest but at the Concord rally Paul and I managed to polish off a litre flask of Royal Lochnagar pretty swiftly.

Quite smooth stuff as I recall.

Mind you I have a bottle of Ben Nevis and a bottle of glengoyne collecting dust which I got from Fort William a few years ago.

Just waiting for my bottles of port and calvados to finish before I start on them.

Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

Is that because you are a "Proud Welshman" or is it really that good?? If I can find it, I will get me some! Always on the lookout for new faves!

It's all good. I had somebody turn it back on me when I posted a lame-brained response to a technical question on another forum.

A good bourbon or American whiskey. There are a lot of them at a wide price range. Maker's Mark or Knob Hill down to Early Times. Canadian if I want it a little milder, Seagram's Seven or Crown Royal. Not really partial to Scotch. Bombay or Boodles Gin goes down real nice though.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
