I think someone did an average of the answers to this same question about a year ago. Don't remember what the average age ended up. If anyone finds it, stick it in here - save a lot of trouble. I'm 60, born in '49.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.

Many of the Triumph guys are from the older era. No offense guys. Any rider is still a rider. I'm just a pup at 1985 making me 24.

Including me, average of responses so far is 50.0 That's pretty young these days, and personally I don't feel a day over 40. Credit that to motorcycling, clean living and fine Irish whiskey.

A ripe old 67, most assuredly in the OLGZR class. Which is my tag on the bike ,by the way. New to the forum but not to motorcycling. Rode my first bike and my first Triumph in 1962. The ride was a black 1960 T100A Bathtub. Wish I still had her.

Look like I'll be the 2nd oldest to respond. Just turned 63 in October. Bought my first bike, a new America, in 2005. I had only ridden my brother's bike a little in the late 60s. A buddy was restoring a '67 Triumph and I accompanied him to the dealer. Bought the TBA about a month later.

I guess I've finally become the minority again - it used to be because I was the youngest in the group! 1945 - you figure it out, I don't want to know! I stopped counting at 50 and I like it there.
