This past sunday, I went up to Payson, AZ, had a late (but yummy) breakfast at the Airport, then headed up the 260 to the Mogollon Rim. Stopped off at Willow Springs Lake. I enjoyed the very cool weather, super quiet, and just plain relaxing! So quiet, I could hear the wings of nearby flying birds.

On the way home, I swung past Saguaro lake, along the Salt River (Bush Highway), and then finally, reluctantly, I came home... 300 miles later it was 90 degrees by then.

A few pictures I took to share (although it would have been fun to have a few friends along to share that ride with):

Your bike looks great, but I have to ask what knee pads are those?
They appear to be the ones for the new shaped tank???????
Just wondering,
Uncle Charlie

Nice pix there Martin!

(they've got me even more ready to move to the Prescott house next January!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

They probably are the pads from the new style tank. I ordered them at the Triumph dealer, and that's what they gave me, so I stuck 'em on....

Yep - it's an '07. I'm hopefully jetting it this weekend and taking it out on another adventure.
