BTW, are there any very rough plans re number of stops on the way etc? I know it's do-able to get both of us on the bike with camping gear but why should we if we don't actually have to? What I'm getting at is if there are a couple of stops on the way, assuming we can wing it and finally manage to get to go this time, we could do with some sorta travel lodge type thingy type set-up ... sorta.

My earlier post mentions this place Its an easy ride from the channel ports and only 250 miles from the rally site.
I have spoken to Martyn about this and am going to contact them to see if they will take us, and if we can get special group rates.
