Twisties
When something is faster and not Triumph it always goes to the twisty argument. It was never designed or intended to be a mountain racer.
Uh huh, Ron. Yep, I admit I'm usually the one who brings that factor into these Harley discussions, alright.
However, when I do, I never use the phrase, a mountain "RACER", now do I? Because, nope, I'm not "racing" out there on these mountains in CA and AZ. Nope.
You see. what I'm doing is riding "spiritedly". And that's way I like my Triumph BA as compared to any Harley Big Twin I've ever ridden over the years. Because, my BA is just about the best handling "criuser" style motorcycle out there in which to ride "spiritedly" over those mountain roads, which I'm sure you know.
(...and which you've seen me often do in AZ yourself...even with these cheap-azz stock shocks I've still got on my BA)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
