I had my stock seat recontoured. They 1) raised the front part, 2) slightly lowered the part your butt rests upon, and 3) took off material from the back of the rear of the seat. Result is that you sit "into" the seat which stops you from sliding forward in the seat and gives slightly better back support. Also moved me back around 1" which made a big difference. My next mod (after sitting on a new T-Bird), is to modify the pillion seat with additional material (in front of the pillion seat), which will come over the back of the main seat to provide an extra inch of back support. Have a look at the T-Bird Pillion seat and you will know what I mean.
