I only things I could suggest is either a set of highway pegs to lengthen your legs out but, not really a safe option round town so much.
I'm 6'1", and have found I haven't got a problem with the corbin seat which comparted to the stock you seam to sit in and not on. Maybe see if you can find someone with one around to compare how it feels. Just a suggestion but your extra 2" would make a bigger difference, no doubt.
The other is to try to find a good seat upholsterer who could redesign your current set up I guess
I would have thought there were others who have been there and sorted it somehow.
