Still are.
I believe they are owned by BMW for a couple of years now.
It was the Castiliogni Brothers before that (Cagiva - the same guys who also resurrected MV Agusta).
When Cagiva took them over (around 10 or so years back) a lot of the ex-Husky engineers set up the Husaberg factory - really superb dirt bikes.
