Hey... I risked life and limb to go back to the site to try and recover an item deemed dear to our brother John (freedom) and I must admit I felt intimidated. It was an act of comradely, not bravery that compelled me to go there to try to recover that of personal importance. In the end I relived (to some degree) the intensity of the occasion due to familiarity to the location and the local vibration around that spot. I have in my possession artifacts of that time and place and an appreciation for what the observer musta endured. Friar... I have nothing but respect for the way you handled this situation. Remember... I've ridden by this spot many, many times since, and each time I slow the f%ck down in remembrance, respect and appreciation for the final outcome of this event. I am so grateful I can address you both in the 'present and accounted for.'
